However, it can be difficult to find a restaurant that hasn’t closed for the holidays, with many hospitality teams taking a much-needed break during the holiday season.

However, all hope is lost, as some restaurants in Bristol will still be open and serve their famous food for your viewing pleasure.
Here’s where you can get your fix of dining on January 1.
L’Osteria is a very popular Italian restaurant in Bristol’s shopping district, serving pizzas that are just too big to fit on a plate.
The pizzeria will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
Purezza, the UK’s first vegan pizza chain, opened a site in Bristol in September 2020 which has taken off. It will be open for dinner from noon to 11 p.m. on New Years Day.
The delicacy of the dragon
If Chinese cuisine is more to your liking, there aren’t many places that do it better than Dragon’s Delicacy, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on January 1.
The Ivy Clifton Brewery
The Ivy will serve its delicious dishes from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Years Day, but it’s best to book as it’s likely to be as popular as ever, even on a public holiday.
The real greek
The Real Greek is a magnificent Cabot Circus restaurant serving the best of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
You can visit on January 1 as it will be open during its usual hours from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
San Carlo will serve its premium fare from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on New Years Day, with options including pizza, pasta, and platters to share.
Flour and Ash
Route des Dames Blanches
Flour and Ash reopened in a stunning new location on Whiteladies Road earlier this year after a shock closure during the pandemic, and you can spend your holidays there enjoying its delicious pizza and pasta dishes. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.
