During the day of December 31, Bow Valley friends, neighbors, co-workers and families are invited to a fun event that promises to be safe.

Live music, artists, cultural tales can be enjoyed around heated fireplaces.

“The artists and activities will help everyone have fun, reflect and rejuvenate, with strategies to promote personal well-being.

“We’ve all been through a lot in the past couple of years and it’s important to take the time to self-assess, build our personal resilience, reach out to others and focus on positive hopes for 2022.

We reimagine the NYE resolution with an opportunity for the community to come together in this burning need for Renewal Reflection. Everyone will be invited to write down what they want to leave behind in 2021, as well as their hopes and plans for a healthy and happy New Year.

Pyrotechnics will not take place this year due to security considerations regarding gatherings during COVID-19. The event will end at 6 p.m.

A recipient of the Order of Canada and a mental health advocate, Séan McCann will host an afternoon of live music on the Main Stage at 12:15 p.m. in the North Quarter.

Letters of Resolve We are reimagining the NYE Resolution with an opportunity for the community to come together. Everyone will be invited to write down what they want to leave behind in 2021 and their hopes for a happy and healthy New Year. These confidential letters will be used during the 5:30 p.m. Ceremony of Reflection and Renewal.
