Christmas may be over, but New Year’s Eve is almost here. OKC will ring in 2022 with fireworks and the traditional rising ball.

KOCO 5 got a sneak peek at this year’s opening night, which will take place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. On Sunday, the artists previewed their performances at Penn Square Mall.

“It’s Oklahoma City’s biggest family event and it’s the longest running for 36 years,” said co-chair Kendall Bleakley.

Performers include live opera and the Bricktown Clown, as well as other performers, food, trucks, and even snow tubes.

“And we have all these venues that are going to be set up at the ballpark, so once you walk through the door, there’s something for everyone,” said co-chairman Tom Burton.

Tickets can be purchased online or at any 7/11.
