A missing 86-year-old woman who was last seen on New Years Day at Parrish Medical Center has been found safe, Titusville police said Sunday.
Police issued a silver alert for Mary Acuff, who lives in Titusville, on Saturday evening. She was last seen at 11 a.m. Saturday in hospital, police said in a news release.
Acuff was found safe around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
“Titusville Police have issued a Silver Alert, are following up on investigative leads and alerting media and social media in reference to this urgent, high-priority incident,” Deputy Police Chief Todd Hutchinson said in the statement. a press release on Sunday afternoon.
“We are pleased that she was found unharmed within 24 hours by alert and vigilant officers,” Hutchinson said.
